The Challenge
Fight Colorectal Cancer reached out after their Bloomerang-to-QuickBooks integration stopped working, causing inconsistencies in their data. They needed a solution to restore accurate reporting and ensure future data flowed correctly.
The Solution
We partnered closely with the team to identify the root cause: the integration issues, combined with a gift coding structure that wasn’t fully supporting both fundraising and financial metrics. Together, we realigned their processes and built a technical setup in Bloomerang to ensure that data from multiple event types (donations, peer-to-peer events, and team registrations) flowed seamlessly into the CRM and into QuickBooks. We also created reports to support ongoing tracking and worked with the team to clean up and organize existing data.
The Outcome
The client now has a structured system that connects fundraising forms to the CRM and financial systems, accurate reporting, and a gift coding framework that supports both fundraising and accounting needs.
