The Challenge
Virginia Law Foundation manages a highly complex constituent ecosystem that includes individual attorneys, their law firms, personal households, and layered institutional relationships. Their work also depends on sophisticated, highly segmented mailings and precise financial reporting, all of which require consistent naming conventions, accurate relationship management, and tight alignment between their CRM, fundraising tools, and financial systems.
After migrating from Blackbaud’s eTapestry to Bloomerang, the system needed to be carefully structured to reflect this complexity and maintained with a high level of precision as new data and integrations are introduced.
The Solution
We supported Virginia Law Foundation’s migration into Bloomerang, thoughtfully restructuring constituent records, transaction data, and custom fields to ensure the system accurately reflected how their community operates.
From there, we’ve served as a long-term partner, providing ongoing CRM stewardship and proactive support.
Our work includes maintaining complex constituent relationships and naming conventions, monitoring data as it flows in from Bloomerang Fundraising, and troubleshooting integrations to prevent downstream issues. We also maintain complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports aligned with their financial software, manage tiered giving society levels, and build highly segmented mailing lists multiple times each year. As new events are introduced, we support and monitor Bloomerang Fundraising integrations to ensure smooth data flow.
