CRM Specializations

While we have experience in a wide-variety of Nonprofit CRM systems (and are always excited to dig into a new or less-familiar system), these are the Nonprofit Database Systems we know best:

DonorPerfect

DonorPerfect is a solid online fundraising tool and donor management solution with some very useful advanced automation tools and high-level of flexibility for custom fields, screen-design etc... We’ve helped many nonprofits on a wide range of Donor Perfect projects to help optimize their system, utilize the more advanced features, train staff on some of the complexities and customizations, and report building. DP recently (2023) rolled out a new online donations form, a huge improvement we’re excited about.

Neon CRM is a powerful and full-featured system, with a modern user-interface. Over the last several years, Neon has made major overhauls of key tools including native email-marketing, membership modules and their form-builder tool. They continue to make frequent, great improvements to their products.

One feature that makes Neon stand apart from other CRMs is its “workflows” automations feature as well as a superior membership module for membership-based organizations.

Bloomerang

Bloomerang is a tool we deeply love - one of our all-time favorites - and most recommend, especially to small and mid-sized nonprofits. They’re continually improving their software and adding new features. Some stand-out features include their internal email system; an intuitive and comprehensive filtering and reporting tool and its customer training and support.
Bloomerang was founded in part by a former Blackbaud exec who knew a much better tool was possible… and then successfully built it!

Kindful is a user-friendly CRM with a modern interface, stellar customer service, and a wide-variety of integration partners. Kindful tends to be a good fit for organizations without complex needs, but offers many integrated tools designed to meet additional needs beyond its internal capacities.

We’ve helped clients with ongoing Kindful data management, integration (frequently Quickbooks) set-up and management, new system configuration and recurring donation management.

Bloomerang acquired Kindful in 2020 and has continued to sufficiently support and enhance the platform.

Little Green Light

Little Green Light is another user-friendly and affordable donor management tool that we work with frequently and happily. Some of our favorite LGL features are its internal email system, its successful Mailchimp integration, an easy reports tool and one of the most flexible form builders on the market.

We worked with several long-term LGL clients on daily database management and complex form building as well as system configuration for new LGL customers.

Other tools:

Raiser’s Edge NXT - Recent RENXT projects include,
• Post-event data imports from a gala / auction managed in OneCause
• Integration management and data imports from Luminate Online/ Team Raiser.
• new staff training and set up in both webview and database view.
• Migration away from RENXT, which is more often than not, a poor fit for small to mid-sized nonprofits.

Salsa CRM + Salsa Engage - Examples of recent Salsa projects include a migration from elaborate spreadsheet-based donor management + constant contact into Salsa CRM and Salsa engage. We managed the planning and data imports as well as the actual migration and much of the post-migration configuration.

2024 Update: Salsa was purchased by Bonterra in 2023 and announced plans to sunset the software. They have since announced that they have decided NOT to sunset their products. Concerns remain that their attention and support for the platform may deteriorate as a result.
